Public transportation and parking
We suggest that patients use public transportation as there are very few parking opportunities in the neighborhood (blue zone). The closest basement parkings (less than 5 minutes walking distance) are Uni Dufour and Plainpalais.
The Center has 4 stopping spaces meant to just drop patients off (parking not allowed).
However, the easiest way to get to the Centre is by bus, line 1 (stop : Rue des Bains), or tramway lines 12, 13, 15, 17 (stops: Place du Cirque or Plainpalais).
Also patients should be reminded that driving a vehicle whatsoever with a bandage or a splint on the hand or wrist is strongly discouraged, as reimbursement by insurance companies will not be provided in case of a car accident. This is the patient’s responsibility to decide whether he or she is able to drive.
Disabled/handicapped
A car parking space for the handicapped patients is at your disposal in front of the entrance door of the Center with a level access for wheel chairs (you may call before your arrival).
